Fine Artist Practicing in Cambridge

Moved to Cambridge from north London in 2003 working as a Game designer whilst continuing to focus on my artistic practice.

Mainly working in Oils but also relief Printing.
Work tends to be figurative and impressionistic landscapes and buildings done in and around Cambridge with the occasional portrait.

Though rooted in realism and observation, "What is seen, felt and known to be there", the processes used in the artwork are core to its nature.

The process of creation and its transparency, along with the ever-present tension between the medium and the subject, allows the emergence of something new and unique.

This makes the dialog of creation one of the most rewarding experiences, enabling one to reach beyond one's self.

The journey's shadow is captured and shared through the resulting work.
